How Radiesse® works
The product itself is straightforward: calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a smooth gel carrier. CaHA is a mineral compound similar to what is found in human bone, which is why your body recognises it as a natural material.
Once injected, the gel gives you immediate structural support and visible contour. But that is really only the first half of what Radiesse does. The microspheres stay behind and act as a scaffold beneath the skin, signalling your body to produce new collagen and elastin around them. Over the next few months, the gel absorbs. What to expect
